What version of windows you use will not change your internet connection speed.

Where do you get your internet from? AT&T? Verison? Comcast?

Call them and ask them to upgrade your speed, they are the only ones who can do this, it will cost extra per month on your bill but if you think you want/need it. Then it would be worth it.

No you cannot speed it up on vista, however if you upgrade your internet provider to something faster then that will help. Another thing that you could do, is if you are using a power saving power plan, then you could speed up your computers performance.
