Can i charge canadian electronics in Dominican?

I'm going to dominican republic, puerto plata to be specific, and i have an ipod touch and a PSP that im going to need to charge every other day, are the outlets in dominican the same as in canada? or am i going to need an adapter?

  1. no adaptor needed, a used my hair straightener, ipod charger, battery charger for camera.. no problems!
