Can i claim any benefits in gibralter as a single parent

i eant to move to gibralter but can i get any help with benefits as i am a working mum i recieve working tax credits and child benefit does anyone know if i an claim that over there also i am a uk citizen also xx

  2. This is not an easy question to answer, although I suspect your benefits will cease within a short time of you leaving the UK.

  4. The simple answer is yes you can, Gibraltar is under British rule and as such adopts the same system.

  5. Gibraltar:  not part of Spain.  They would probably have different laws, unless the ones you refer to are EU laws.  As they are British, it stands to reason that their laws MIGHT be the same, but then, does Australia have the same laws?  they might have their own setup.


  6. Gibraltar is a British overseas territory so I suppose it would be a similar setup to here?  Not sure.
