alright, i'm 16, just left school, and no one is looking part time work, i have been looking about 3 or 4 months now, and it's getting tedious. I need money! I live at home as well, if that alters anything, I don't know.

  1. No you can not. why would the state pay you to sit about doing nothing at you age when it is already funding several educational oppurtunties for you. Gt yourself back to school or into education or training. At 16 your are far to young to be even considering the dole. Why are you only looking for part time work, get yorself a fulltime job. I don't believe that there is not a Burger king or Tesco near you where you can find some gainful employment.

  2. Looks like there is very little you can claim while living at home, unless you go back into education and claim EMA

  3. No, to claim JSA at 16/17 you need to be in a certain specified groups eg disabled, estranged from your parents or likely to suffer severe hardship.
