  1. It depends.  I knew a friend who was afford a position at another location that was 18 miles away.  He was denied unemployment because they indicated anything over 20 miles from your current job, would be accepted and approved.

    I would check with your state's unemployment office to inquire about this.


  2. As long as it was an offer, yes.

  3. If the distance is large, yes. Got to remember that some States touch each other and the drive may be only a couple miles. Many companies that close a location  or move offer their employees a job elsewhere. It is an offer and not a requirement.
