  1. Your low noise block convertor (LNB) will resonate to all microfrequencies received and reflected by the parabolic dish. The coax should be either 50 or 75 ohms (depending on the impedance of the boxes) and usually it's the latter. You must use the right co-ax for the job. Usually a satellite coax terminates in an F-plug so:

The downlead (the one coming from the dish) terminates in a two way F-plug splitter. From the splitter, you run a length of co-ax to the boxes, and job done. BUT-

The longer the coax, the more attenuation you get, and I wouldn't recommend a longer length than 25 feet. Instead, you may want to consider putting a wireless transmitter in.

  2. 2 LNB's with seperate cables is the simple way  to do it.

  3. I'm not too sure how you go about this, but I do know you can use one dish to use to two digital boxes, on the dish you would probably have a single LNB to use two boxes, from one dish you would need a multiple LNB connector.

To make this work efficiently you probably would have to contact the provider.

  4. yes, how you would actually go about it I don't know and based on your question I would say that you probably don't know either

  5. nope.

if u do that, both tvs will be watching the same channel.

  6. yes it is called multiroom dont know if sky needs set it up
