Can i connect multiple stereos into the same stereo system?

well i have some stereos and i want to connect 4 of them into one stereo system...will that f*** the stereos up or cause something bad to happen

  1. That would probably blow the speakers and would definitly blow the amplifiers if you just hooked them all into your speakers.

    The only way you could really do it would be to hook one speaker up to each stereo (2 lefts and 2 rights), or use them to bi amp 2 speakers. It wouldn't be a very good venture I think and would sound terrible. You'd be better off selling the 4 stereos and buying one better one.


  2. You can do anything you want to, the question is why? Do you have 4 sets of speakers you wish to hook up? If so a bunch of Y cables at the inputs to split the input 4 ways would do what you want it to.

    If you are envisioning hooking 4 amps to one set of speakers give it up. It won't work that way. Amp power is not additive at the outputs and could damage some or all of your amps and speakers.
