Can i convert my battery to pandora?

Question

i have the 3.8 OFW and the sony 1200maH battery (its slim,i think). can i convert it to pandora battery safely and return it back to original battery,,i have read that you can only convert older version of batteries and if so,what battery is safe to convert then?..im converting softmode,,i also have access to a custom firmware,,tnx in advance,,^^

actually buy a pandora battery off ebay and keep your old battery
