  1. No. Several years ago a company briefly tried marketing a digital back for older 35mm SLR cameras but it was too expensive and didn't work all that well and was quickly relegated to the dustbin of history.

Unfortunately, your lenses are not usable on any modern DSLR without an adapter. There is an adapter to use the MC/MD Minolta lenses on the Canon EOS mount DSLR and one to use them on the Olympus DSLR cameras. Minolta offered a 2X teleconverter to allow them to be used on the Maxxum AF cameras and if you could find one it would work with the Sony DSLR cameras.

  2. Not that one. You can use its lenses on a new Sony camera, I think.

The only convertible SLR that can work as a dSLR is Leica R. The digital back (was, as it has been discontinued) $5,000. A bit expensive for many.

  3. You could, but it's cheaper to buy a digital camera, or to scan the pictures from your current camera.
