Can i copy files from a linux pc to my PS3?

Question

I want to copy videos and other files to my ps3's hard drive over the network from my computer.

The computer is running linux. I don't want to install yellowdog linus on the ps3, and i don't have a usb hard drive otherwise i wouldn't be doing this...

yea i would agree by using a external hdd or flash or stick all depends on  how much your transferring over.

transfer them to a usb drive is the only option . you van also use an mp3 player and for music make an mp3 disc and the PS3 can copy it to the HD ( unless you have the one with memory card slots )
