  1. Well just take a pair of nail clippers  (97 cents at wallmart if you dont have a pair) and cut the tips off the first time you may have to have someone help you hold her down.

  2. Dont file her nails You can use regular nail clipper Just make sure you dont cut too close to the pink portion You dont want her to bleed or get hurt Cause all her nerve endings are right there So just be really careful Plus stay calm They can sense if youre stressed or irritated Because im sure shes gonna try to run away So be patient and keep her calm Or itll be a bad experience for her and shell freak out everytime you go to clip her nails

  3. If you really want to cut your cat`s toenails, you may. But becareful with your cat.

  4. Just be careful -- I had a cat that used to growl and make weird snarling noises when we cut her nails.

  5. I'd recommend filing their nails down. They have nerves in their claws and clipping them would cause them pain. Just wrap your cat up in a towel and file their nails.

  6. If you can't afford to take them to the vet to get her nails trimmed, then you can at least buy a pair of animal nail trimmers. They are not the same as human nail trimmers like many seem to think! Just make sure not to cut too far because they will bleed and if you ever cut too deep make sure to put corn starch or flour on the nail to stop the bleeding. It is just as painful if not worse for our cats to have this done. They may not be able to express their feelings so please be careful!

  7. I use a regular nail cutter for mine, you can do it yourself, just be careful not to cut too short as you will cut into the vein.

Extend her leg, gently put pressure on the pad of her foot to extend the nails and trim away.

  8. I use regular nail clippers. But be cautious on how much you cut off because you can cut a vein thats in their nail and cause it to bleed. And its very painful for the animal as well!

  9. Use human nail clippers. Just make sure you don't cut the quick (the pink). Hold her like a baby to cut her nails.

  10. use a filer you cant make her bleed that easily and you can make them short and round or flat whch ever you want. you should have one lying around somewhere.right?

    well good luck!!:)
