Can i cut my red ear sliders nails cos when i hold him he scratches and that hurts!?

Let's start by cutting off YOUR secondary sexual characteristics. You will enjoy that as much as your turtle will enjoy having HIS nails cut. Turtles live longer if they are handled as little as possible, too.

please dont do it yourself..... get a vet to do it. My friend usually gets her res's nails blunt on the tip.

Get a rock for it to climb on to sunbath.

yes, but you really need to watch out for tiny little veins in there nails, if you dont know what your doing get a proffetional to do it. :o)
