Can i cut this solar cell?

Question

I just bought this "silicon" solar cell from radio shack. I need to know if i can cut it smaller

edit. probably not, but you may get lucky. Cut the side away from the leads, and protect the exposed surface with some sort of varnish.

what will probably happen is that you will short out between the layers, and thus short out the cell.
