  1. i think you would get owned, jet li has bin training for years.

and size does not matter, have you ever herd the saying "it aint the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog"

  2. Many people on here underestimate the advantages of size. I do not know anything about your level of skill, but Jet Li is a champion in China, so you would have to be very good to beat him, even if you are taller and heavier. I think I could beat Jet Li, for I am 6'-1", 27 stone and won powerlifting contests, as well as martial arts bouts. How would you and Jet like to spar with my gal Miyuki who is 154cm=5'-0.5", 44kg = a bit under 7 stone? She is much stronger than Bruce Lee was.

  3. Nah, he'd clean your clock top to bottom.

  4. If you throw all 11 stones at him, perhaps.

  5. The answer is no. Here's why -

You're asking the question, which means you doubt it yourself, and no matter how skilled you MIGHT be, doubt will cripple you far quicker than any outward opponent.

Secondly - How you speak of size and weight making such a drastic difference shows exactly how little you really know about martial arts. Additionally, you suggesting that wushu is a flowery dance like ballet further proves how little you know about martial arts, and going into battle with a mindset like that is an act that will cost you.

For the record, to someone who is trained to the extent that Jet Li is, size is little more than something to take into account when you're deciding how best to handle someone, it's a very small hurdle that most martial artists who are dedicated to their art find easy to use to their advantage. Why, you ask? Becuase most people think like you do.

Oh, and just to clarify - you pushing someone unprepared is not really a demonstration of your skill as much as it is a demonstration of your ignorance and lack of faith in your own ability.

    Sorry, but it's the truth.

  6. in a cage or in a street fight?

  7. Go for it.

  8. No

  9. The here is, you might be stronger cause you're heavier, but he's a faster cause he's lighter. Not to mention that he's China's Wushu champion...

He might know pressure point fighting, extremely experienced fighter, and most of all, has been  doing martial arts all his life. And once again, he used to be China's martial arts Champion... Size doesn't matter in a fight, it's all about how smart and experienced you are.

But you'll never know. You might be able to kick his ***...

  10. Size dont matter much...

Who would win a Boxing Match? A 500lb big guy, or a 100lb little guy?

The little guy, hes faster, and gets tired less.

Before the big guy gets to punch, the little guy would throw 100 punches, and dodge the big guy's punch.

The big guy would soon get tired... and it will be the little guy who hold victory that day...

Even with a smalller diference then 400 lbs, it still could be the same thing....

Also, size doesnt matter.... your technique, speed, and will matters. Next time you get in a fight just keep those 3 words in mind...

But try, who knows, you might just be the next Champ, and if so Good Luck! ;)

  11. Size don't matter since he knows moves.
