Can i delete files in the Prefetch folder?

No, it will not mess up your PC - it will just get recreated as it is part of how the system works.

No, it cannot contain spyware because it contains a database of code pages to load.

But deleting it WILL slow your PC down, at least until the operating system has managed to fully repopulate it.

Some suggest to empty your Prefetch folder periodically to increse performance but some suggest not.

no.it wont do any harm on your computer.me,i delete to free  some disk space.delete your recycle bin too after doing so in the prefetch folder
