You should be fine, just make sure the only active ingredient is Dextromethorphan (DXM).

8x600mg will kill likely kill you.  People have survived huge doses, but really, anything more than 10mg/kg is not for the faint of heart.

It should go without saying that any products with anything other than DXM are unsafe at recreational doses.

Triple C's is horrible for your body, many of people have died from them.  Go get yourself a bottle or two of robitussin xtra strength and do your drugs more safely...
