  1. MBA is a masters degree . you must have bachelors degree in any branch to get a masters degree. Since you have done diploma , and not a degree course you will not be able to do MBA. First complete bachelors degree and then go for MBA

  2. You can indeed do M.Sc in Hotel Management with your Diploma in Hotel Management, if it was a three year Diploma course done after your +2.

Annamalai University, an UGC approved university, offers M.Sc in Hotel Management to three year Diploma holders in Hotel Management & Catering Technology who have completed their Diploma after 10+2.

For MBA, the minimum eligibility is graduation. However, it is my understanding that ICFAI University admits you their MBA programme if your Diploma is a three year course and you joined for your Diploma after 10+2.

Mumbai College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Mumbai offers MBA in Hospitality Management of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University(an UGC approved university) to those who have completed their SSC, subject to performance in the Entrance Examination held in July every year.

So you see, there are not many MBA programmes available to Hotel Management Diploma holders. Only a handful of universities accept Hotel Management Diploma holders to their MBA programmes. Most universities don't, and insist on graduation before they can admit you their MBA programmes.

    All the best :)

  4. You should understand the basic thing about doing a course in Masters level. You must have a Degree to go for Masters in any subject. MBA is a Masters in Business Management, so you should have completed at least BA/BSc/BCom or a recognized Degree in Hotel Management for getting admission in your desired course.

Sorry for the correct and straight forward answer.

  5. you can do MBA,some university add on few subjects and others will let you do MBA if you have some work experience say 2-5 years.Do a through search and i am sure you will find the way out.

  6. You can do an MBA after any undergrad degree. They might req. that you take some business class but your degree shouldn't prevent you from getting an MBA.

  7. In India it is required that you have atleast a 3 yr. under grad. degree before MBA.You can go for PG Certificates in management or Distance Courses (some of them may allow Diploma holders with work experience, esp. the open univ. MBAs)
