Of course. So many people do it and that was the way persons from the colonies did degrees about 100 years ago. I did my degree with the University of London. The best thing about them is that though you study externally the standard they expect from you is that of an internal student and the examiners from University of London only mark our papers. So the standard is high. Their study material is also very good and up to date.
