Can i do engineering in University if i dont take maths in college?

Im currently taking Physics, Electronics, and ICt in A2. Will i be "allowed" to do engineering in Uni despite not taking maths?

  1. Doubt it, math is important for engineering.


  2. Think its very unlikely, although perhaps you could get in through a foundation degree, for example:

  3. Not directly, however lots of universites offer "foundation degrees" in engineering. What this basically means is that you'll spend an extra year in uni which you'll spend catching up on the relevant Maths.

  4. Why don't you do a course search on www.ucas.ac.uk and see for yourself? I would do it for you but there are a lot of universities that offer engineering and you'll have to look eventually anyway.

  5. No all engineering requires at least some mathematics.

  6. Well, math is very important in engineering.
