Can i do something about rude customer service?

Hello people

Now then, this is the situation. I recently phoned the xbox live customer support line because my console has begun to give me the three red lights, but still works sometimes. I am under the impression that it is broken, and i phoned them to ask them what i should do.

This is where the fun starts. The person i was talking with seemed to have no idea what the three red lights even were. When i asked if i could speak with someone who knew what i was talking about, this rude individual declared that he would not put anybody else onto the phone. So, as you may have guessed, i demanded that i wanted to speak with somebody in a higher position than him (manager etc.). It was at this point that this person told me that i would have to get my xbox fixed and that i wasted a call and that i wouldnt be refunded (?) and when i told him he was very rude, he actually called me an ignorant ****** and hung up!

Question is, what can i do about this, if anything?

  1. yes, its called the ring of fire or some weird thing like that. It happens alot with the xbox's that were purchased right when they first came out. call back again. you need to send the xbox back and they will repair it or send a new one. Call and explain your problem to the new person who answers the phone (cause it will most likely not be the same person) and tell them about the rude associate.


  2. If you know the person's name, you can call again and go straight to management to report him, otherwise call back and most likely you will get another person who may actually know what the problem is.
