Can i do the sidekick dollar a day plan on the sidekick 2008?

I want to get the sidekick 2008 but since im 15 i dont want to be under a contract. i want to get web browsing, aim, texting, and all of that stuff but i wasn't sure if i could do the dollar a day plan? or anything else that would be good for me. Also how does the dollar a day plan work?

On top of her answer, you can activate the phone by yourself. You can use your birthday and all that good stuff. They don't care about age really.

Yes, to get a Sidekick on prepaid you just buy the Sidekick at full price with no plan (which you can't do online, you need to go to a T-Mobile store) and then buy a prepaid activation SIM. It's possible to just activate as a regular prepaid account and then switch to Sidekick Prepaid, which gives you unlimited messaging, web browsing, and email for $1 a day, with voice calls at 15 cents a minute. It's a pretty good deal in my opinion.

Because you're not 18 yet you can't legally have a T-Mobile account in your name so you might need to have someone else activate it.
