Can i do this on a first date?

I'm in high school, a sophomore and i want to ask this girl out. we both don't have our driver license yet. i want to ask her out to the movies.

can i just tell her to meet up (get dropped off) at the theater or not? wouldn't it be kind of awkward to have my or her parents to drive us there or pick us up after?

Its fine dude if she likes you she wont care it just means your comfortable enough to do that......just make sure you pay for the movie it shows your the man

It would be very kind for you to have your parents pick her up and drop you guys off or vice versa. Yes, it's awkward, but the more you do this, you'll get used to it. Besides, it's a chance for her parents to decide if they like you, or for your parents to decide if they like her. So be on your best behavior!

Getting dropped off isn't that bad of an idea though. Whichever you choose. Maybe the first date you meet her there, the ones afterwards, you "carpool".

well as seeing as neither of you have liscense's i think it would be okay for your parentals to drop you off and pick you up.. or maybe if the movie is close to like a store or something your date could go there to be picked up.. or what the hey ... just let the parents pick you up there. If she said yes to going with you then i dont think she would think its weird for the parents to pick y'all up.

But yeah most commonly teens without cars do the drop off thing. =]

Pick her up in a vehicle bro.... have one of your friends, Mom or Dad pick her up and dropped the two of you off at the movie theater.  There's nothing wrong with that...
