i won an item on ebay and i want to pay with paypal so i can get my item faster maybe by the end of the week b4 xmas....but i want to know if i can create a paypal account and pay the item and then cancel the paypal account like in a week later.....

You dont need to make an account just pay and then say no when its over and ask you if you want to create an account!

I'm sure you can, but be careful.

People hacked my account and tried to pay with my paypal. So I no longer deal with paypal.

yes, you can set up a paypal account and transfer funds from your bank account, however, paypal will make 2 small deposits into your account (2-5 cents) which takes 2-3 business days. Once you confirm this deposit then you are all set.   As far as i know you can cancel at anytime (guess it depends on which type of paypal account you open)

yes you can do that. you will need a credit card to open a paypal account. when you are done using it you can close it. i suggest you wait until the item is recieved and you and the seller have exchanged feedback.

however i dont see why you would want to close it cos a paypal account might come in handy in the future. it doesnt cost you anything to maintain it.

You can you just need a credit card or bank account, but I wouldnt cancel the paypal account.  Paypal is free and you never know when you will need to use it again.

I love paypal I buy stuff off of ebay and use it all the time.
