nope, not if they've (IT dept) blocked it properly!

No. Since hotmail is a internet-based item, if the thing has been blocked, the only way for you to get past this block is if you use a proxy, and i dont recommend that, since some of those are fake, and they can steal your password if you use them.

usualy the proxie settings are for internet explorer, if you download firefox you should be more than able to get in right away...

if for any reason you cant download or install firefox you could use your windows explorer to get in (open my documents or my computer and use the address bar on top to access hotmail...)

if everything else fails you can access atunnel.com and that way u can also get into hotmail, myspace, yahoo answers, etc etc...

Yes, you use a proxy server, which basically channels what you do through someone else's computer. Google Tor for instance
