  1. If frappuccinos contain caffeine I would recommend not (I am not sure if they do). If they do contain caffeine the baby can become addicted to caffeine before he is even born...

Otherwise I do not see any problems.

  2. go ahead and drink it every now and then, and im pretty sure that after the first 3 months of pregnancy the baby isnt as affected, just dont drink it on a regular basis

  3. you should stick to decaf. while pregnant.  it is just the flavor you are craving??? then decaf should be fine.  you are allowed one cup of coffee (8oz) a day while pregnant, but i had NONE my entire pregnancy.

    good luck

  4. they have no alcohol.just once in a while.ask for the decaf version.i am sure they will accommodate a craving mom to be.congrats!

  5. An occasional jolt of caffeine probably isn't harmful (my mother drank coffee all day long while pg with my little brother and he seems to have turned out okay...) but why would you want to chance it.  Play it safe and get decaf....

  6. There is no borders about how much caffeine is safe to the fetus. It depends on the fetus sensibility for caffeine, and there is no way to measure this.

As caffeine is a poison, and the fetus cannot depurate caffeine, each coffee that the mother drinks is poisoning her future child, and the lesion is definitive. Some of these lesions are described at my e-book free at www.izecksohn.com/leonardo. Other lesions nobody knows.

I advise to any mother to not drink any caffeine.

  7. Looks like you are OK to drink coffee drinks every now and then according to researchers.

However, I personally think it'll be better for baby if you could wait until your baby is born. When you think of how caffeinee make your heart beat faster and sometimes changes the rhythm of your heart beat, can you imagine what caffein will do to poor little heart of your unborn baby inside of you?

Here is an related article from New York Times.

"Too much caffeine during pregnancy may increase the risk of miscarriage, a new study says, and the authors suggest that pregnant women may want to reduce their intake or cut it out entirely.

Many obstetricians already advise women to limit caffeine, though the subject has long been contentious, with conflicting studies, fuzzy data and various recommendations given over the years.

The new study, being published Monday in The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, finds that pregnant women who consume 200 milligrams or more of caffeine a day — the amount in 10 ounces of coffee or 25 ounces of tea — may double their risk of miscarriage.

Pregnant women should try to give up caffeine for at least the first three or four months, said the lead author of the study, Dr. De-Kun Li, a reproductive and perinatal epidemiologist at the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research in Oakland, Calif..."

  8. Either order it decaf, or stay away until not pregnant or breast feeding.  More and more studies linking ADD to caffeine intake during pregnancy.  Careful- better safe than sorry.
