  2. As long as the tractor unit only has 2 axles

  3. Not legally in the USA.   A rigid or strait truck is a class B license, but an articulated or tractor trailer is a class A license.  You also have to have the proper endorsements for all the extras, like air brakes, doubles and triples, passenger, Haz-Mat, etc.

  4. Yes but No trailor and the 5th wheel must be unusable, (put a chain over it)

  5. No, If you remove The 5th wheel you can then drive it on a car licence as it is not classed as a HGV UN able to carry goods or load.

  6. Yes you can, As long as your not pulling a trailer. You can even drive them on a C1 7.5 ton licence if the mass weight of the unit is not above 7500KG.
