Can i drive in new york with a n.c. learners permit

Is it as long as i have a parent in the car or does it matter by state?

NO!!! I live here and was born here. I know it all. I wanted to use my NY permit in NJ but they didn't let and I was told by an officer in NY that I can't drive with my permit in another state and NY doesn't accept other state's permits as well. Check the NY dmv website yourself if you don't believe me.

i would think so, we live in new york and my son drove in canada with a learners permit, the border patrol knew it when we crossed and didnt stop him so i would think so, dbl check tho, i wouldnt want to steer you wrong by guessing
