Can i dye over my black hair?

Question

my mom won't let me bleach or strip it for some reason..

but could i get like the lightest blonde hair dye

and leave it on for about 50 minutes.

and then would it be lighter?

so i could go over it with a different color dye?

my natural color is a sandy blondish brown color.

please help.

You should just go and bleach it, seeing as how your hair isn't naturally black anyways...

You can dye over black hair with whatever you want.  But it won't work.

You have to bleach it first.

That may work, but it wont be blond...maybe orangeish. idk try it out i guess there arent many options for you...if you reciently dyed your hair black then go to the store and buy color oops this will take the dye right out!!!!
