No, I don't think so, because Yahoo Groups is a free service for people to socialize.

There are a few who have created a Yahoo group and charged members to join it.  Since Yahoo Groups are free for owners and members, most of those groups have been deleted by Yahoo and the group owners lost their Yahoo accounts.

In theory no. It would be a contravention of TOS #12 and Guideline #6.

Since the Yahoo groups are more of a social entity where people exchange ideas or try to help each other I would think monetary exchanges would not be considered very proper.

It`s possible Yahoo has a specific ruling against making them a moneymaking feature.
