Like yeah the one I'm sending to an agency..could I just tell the photographer to fix my nose a bit.

It's just my nose is a bit crooked (i think that's the word)

And it looks weird in pictures..

So..is it possible to edit your picture a bit like before sending it to an agency..or do they want your exact face in the photograph?

P.S : I would totally have a nose job..but I'm 13..

thanks!

  1. For things that you can fix with makeup, sure. For bone structure, probably not. The whole point of the picture is so they can see what you look like. However, a good photographer should be able to take pictures that minimize your flaws, so that a slightly crooked nose won't be as noticeable.

  2. No, Id be pissed if I was a agent and you had a crooked nose when you showed up and your headshot was perfect.

  3. Actors' headshots are not beauty shots. You are not a model so a crocked nose is not a problem.

You can't retouch it  because the casting director expects you to look exactly like your picture when you walk in for your audition. The only thing you can perhaps retouch is MINOR skin stuff, like a pimple or a stray hair.

But, again, don't worry about it because your job is to have charisma and be a good actor, not to look perfect!
