  1. The Schengen rules say that the country that issued your visa must be either your only destination OR the country you enter first on a multi-country tour.  So long as you arrive first in Austria, you are allowed to travel to or through any other Schengen country before you return to Egypt.

  2. An Egyptian needs a Swiss visa to enter Switzerland even with a Schengen visa.

  3. you should be able but double check not 100% sure

  4. no, you may not, Switzerland is in the European Union, but not in the schengen zone yet, it should be finalized December 2007, therefore a schengen visa does not allow you to enter Switzerland,

go look at this map on the schengen zone and you will see that Switzerland is not within the schengen zone,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schengen_Ag... i advise you to get a visa from Switzerland,

  5. Yes, Schengen visas are fine, all you need in Switzerland is money, or, a tent and some good climbing boots.
