Can i exchange a camera for this reason?

the camera is still on warranty and i want to exchange it for the same exact camera because there was a wiping streak. if i say "i saw streaks on the lens when i first saw the lens"....it is from costco....will they let me exchange it for the same exact one? any suggestions on exchanging a camera for the same exact one?

you can always exchange for a same piece.

You can probably fix that streak with another (proper) cleaning. Lens cleaner, lens cloth. Or try a lens pen.

Costco won't believe you bought a camera with a streak on the lens.

Just tell them you tried to clean the lens as recommended, followed the instructions to a t, now you have a permanent steak and it will not disappear. You should have no problem getting a new camera.

Maybe phone ahead and ask.

I'm sure they'd take it back, although I'm not that familiar with CostCo's customer service. Try it though, and they don't take it, just take it to another CostCo. Good luck!
