Can i feed beets to my 8 month old?

I have no baby food and need to make some of my own.

All i have though is beets, apples, and those sour little plums.

I was thinking of adding the plums to the apples. but im not sure about the beets

Yes you can use the beets, just keep in mind the baby's p**p will be bright red (and also tell anyone else that will be changing diapers).

You can mix the apples and the plums.  However beets are sweet enough on their own.

Yes add the plums to the apples, and yes you can give them beets. Th only problem would be that they stain.
