  1. look it up

  2. No. Only feed your hamster raw seeds. No salt. If it is roasted it kills the hamster. I suggest you buy your hamster hamster food though. I had a hamster and it lived for 3 years. That is a very long time for a hamster! I fed it regular, cheap hamster food. It lived a happy life :)

  3. I don't think so.Most of the sunflower seeds in the pet foods are just plain.

  4. yes, they usually are in hamster food anyways.

  5. I believe you can but sunflower seeds are fattening, so not too many.

  6. Yes, you can but, only occasionally. I like to give them blueberries, blackberries, banana, and strawberries. I would get the seeds at your local pet store.

  7. ya thats fine, but not too many. maybe one a day

  8. It does not KILL the hamster if it's roasted, but they shouldn't eat much. During roasting they lose most nutritional value they had, and your hamster is just getting the fat. Buy the raw, unsalted sunflower seeds. And make sure to feed them in moderation, as well. Seeds are very fatty and they should only be an occasional treat. Something like Cheerios or puffed rice are better treats.

  9. Your hamster would like that, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing to do nutritionally. I'm sure one won't kill it. Non-roasted sunflower seeds once a week as a treat should be ok. Their cheek pouches are very sensitive spots for hamsters, so it's a good idea to watch what goes in them. Instead of seeds/nuts, I suggest introducing more fruits, veggies and greens.
