Can i feed my little hammy a small piece of granola bar?

I would stick with fresh fruits or vegetables in moderation.  You can even try some cheerios or plain popcorn.  Never give a hamster too many treats because excessive amounts can give them diarrhea.

I dont know. I wouldnt. You can give him treats from petco or petsmart.  Petsmart has a big variety of hamster treats. You can probably find a mini granola bar made for hamsters. They have tons of hamster food and snacks. I dont feed my hamster stuff like seeds cause I heard its bad for their diet. So is sugar. He can have sugar but not so much.

It would probably not be okay to do this considering the granola bar, while a healthy snack for humans, has preservatives in it to keep it fresh and edible while on the shelf. These may not be safe for your hammy, so feed him/her plain uncooked oats or some veggies for a snack instead.

Yes i give my hamsters all kinds of things. Anything with fruit and nuts is healthy for the hammie.

If it is made of seed and nuts and dried fruit and thing like that but with not too much sugar and no chocolate it will fine.

they say its not good to do that,but if you do a little piece im sure it will be fine if you break up the pieces.

a small piece as a treat should not hurt I used to give mine graham cracker and honey nut cheerios now I have rats and they eat everything. LOL I love my girls and while yes I do feed them some people food once in a while they have their regular diet of their blocks and rat food I also have added to stretch out their food  bulk (out of the ben parrot food with the fruits and nuts.) I know hamsters are different but with moderation the granola should be fine they have short life spans anyway and you should make them happy while you have them.
