Can i feed white rice to cats?

From my understanding from cat nutritionalists, cats are not supposed to have grains.. so i'd be careful of how much you give the rice to the cats.  they are more meat eaters than carbs.

Well I'm pretty sure they can, it's not like fatal or something. I've seen the fancy feast food in a can that always has some sort of meat mixed with rice and garden greens (fancy feast elegant medleys). However in my opinion kitten should be fed foods specially made for them or soft kitten foods. but overall rice is okay for cats

i wouldnt recomend it but my cat eats it some times like if my sister lets him have some but i dont think it would kill it...go only and see wat types of food hard you breed of cat. hope this helps!

not as a steady diet, but at the shelter I volunteer at if an animal has vomiting or diarrhea issues we will give them cooked beef and rice cooked in low sodium chicken broth and give them that for about 24 hrs so their stomachs can settle out.

The question is why would you want to?  I've heard of sick cats being fed bland food such as boiled rice and chicken.  And that's fine.  Rice, white and brown, is sometimes used in cat food.  It doesn't hurt per se but it is a grain and doesn't belong in cat food.

Rice isn't going to provide any necessary nutrition for your cat and if enough is served it could cause weight gain.

So the answer is, yes you can but no you really shouldn't.

Yes, but its bleached and lacking nutrients. Not the best thing for them. Try brown rice, preferably basmati.

Cat food includes carbohydrates like rice and meat. You can cook meat with rice and try your luck. Cats are picky eaters. I tried and she just ate the meat. :(

but the best way is that you should mix it with some turkey or tuna or cat food or even gravy.

the question is would they eat it!  With kittens stick with the kitten food.  With adult cats, you can see if they will eat it but give them their normal food too.  We give my cats different things to eat for treats - one likes french fries and watermelon!
