Can i find a an affordable photographer for my headshot in NY?

I would like to get a headshot this month, and I was wondering if anyone knew of an affordable and professional one.

Anyone with a 135mm lens or longer can take one. You yourself can rent a camera from almost any camera store for about $50 and shoot it yourself.  It isn't hard at all. If you don't have the confidence to do it yourself, people are always posting their names and phone numbers in the camera stores. You might try looking there first.

I'm not from NY, but you might try looking on Craigslist. Or even posting an ad on CL for headshots under "gigs".
