Can i fix surfboard?

Question

so i was surfin and fell of a good size wave and when i got over the water my board was broken in half. can i fix it or is it just a decoration now

depending on how much you paid, it might be more worth it to spend a few more bucks on a brand new one

Depending on how much you paid for it and the sentimental value as well. Best bet bro is to sand it down to a small board, glass it over and give it to some kid, he'll be happy and it didnt go to waste. Keep the vibe goin.............stay wet

It can be fixed, but I've found that after a serious break like that, the board doesn't ride the same. And chances are, the board will break again soon. If you're tight on money, they you can get it fixed and sure, it'll be rideable. But its best to just get another board and move on. (this is based on shortboards, I know little about longboards)

Then again, Bruce Irons placed 3rd in the 2004 Pipe Masters with a broken board. Halfway through his heat he broke his board, and went in and borrowed Makua's board which had been broken and put back together and still came in third. So, a basically broken board held together at Pipe. But yeah, you should probably get a new one.
