  1. i will say this. when you go to meps they measure your height based on without shoes so if you're 6'5 without shoes you should be fine. also since you're so close i'm sure you could have it waivered.

  2. Standing height must be b/w 64-67" but waiverable.  Sitting height must be b/w 34-40."  I have known of people who received waivers for being too tall/short; however it will limit you to the type of aircraft you can fly following pilot training.

  3. well i heard of a pilot called too tall and he was roughly your height..maybe it was in a movie though haha im not sure..

well i just checked and for the air force the limit is 6'5...so hopefully your lying just a little bit, like im 6 foot and one half inch without my shoes but i say 6'1 because im always wearing shoes so just list yourself at 6'5 and you should be fine

  4. There are some aircraft that are made that you would not want to fly and have to eject. We have an air museum  here in Sonoma County, CA and they have 20aircraft on display and you can sit in them. I'm 6'4" and I would not want to fly. in some. I'd an F16, F14 and F4 Phantom. If I had to punch out of these aircraft, they would be survivable. A bad example is an A6. Your knees cover up your displays.   F4Sky hawk, the front of the canopy would sever your legs off. They have straps that are attached to two explosive retractors and pull your ankles in when you punch out. The front of the canopy sticks and over hangs about a foot over you legs. They will sever your legs off. An F18 Super is OK to fly.  If I were 40 years younger, I'd go into the Air Cavalry and be a chopper pilot. Or go into the Army and get into an Apache. I'd even consider the A10. Those would be fun and what's more important, they are designed to keep you alive.
