Can i fly to Dublin without passport if i have full UK driving licence?

  1. Yes you can - if you are a UK citizen and you were born in the UK before 1983.

    A driving license can be used as evidence of citizenship for UK and Irish citizens. But as the drivers' license states place of birth, not nationality, its only valid for travel if your place and date  of birth guarantees you are a citizen. This only works for people born in the UK before the law on citizenship was changed in 1983.

    However, if you were born after 1983, you could risk it that the border guard won't notice or care.
