  1. Once you are over the age of 30, your only real option is to get a Skilled Working visa. For that, your occupation must be on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and you must pass a points test.

    http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1121... (the SOL)

    http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-s... (the points test)

    http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm (general migration information)

There is an outside chance that you may be able to get a sponsored Temporary Business Long Stay – Standard Business Sponsorship (subclass 457) visa, but that will very much depend on your skills and experience. Go to http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-w... for information.

FYI, WA counts as a regional area if you're looking at applying or a Regional Sponsored Visa.

  2. go to the austalia visa website tap it in on google or something i know that its hard to move over there most ppl i know are nurses or doctors i think they are realy stricked or even try looking up the embassies there i think they would have all that sort of information actually go to the australia visa beauru site they have info on longstay and short stay visa and they tell u how to make applications

  3. The one year holiday working visa is for under 30s. If you are over that age then you need to have a profession they need. These include health professions such as podiatry, nursing and physiotherapy. Then skilled jobs such as electrician, plumber, hairdresser.

If you don't have skills or qualifications in one of there professional shortages then you may have to go back to retrain if you really want some time in Oz.

See the following link for shortage jobs

  4. Check the very informative and easy to follow official website for all of the answers to questions regarding immigration, visas etc:

    http://www.immi.gov.au

  5. Cut off is 30 unless you have a profession they need.  Check out the embassy website for professions needed and then check jobs etc on any one of a number of sites.
