Can i get a cage ment for an african grey for a conure?

ive been thinking(soon to be a bird owner) that the cage i currently have is not big enough for my bird. i know that when it comes to bird the bigger the cage the better. im just wondering if it's okay to buy a cage ment for a larger bird for a smaller bird. i want as much room as my mom will allow for my new bird. the dimentions im looking at are 2ft by 3ft by 5ft, is that okay for a conure?

There's no problem with that as long as the bar spacing is still small enough for the bird you want.  5/8" to 3/4" is good, depending on the size of the conure (smaller species should be at the lower end).
