i live in New York, and i'm going to visit my brother in California at the end of the month. i'm 15 and i obviously can't drive in NY yet, and the driving age in California is 15, so i was thinking i'd get a permit when i go.

my brother just moved out there about 2 months ago and i don't think he's a resident yet.

so i was wondering what type of documents i would need with me.

would i even be able to get one?
