  1. You can't enter the UK without a passport - irrelevant of how you travel! Ignore the people who appear to think that all countries in the EU follow the same regulations - its a load of rubbish!

  2. It doesn't matter what method you travel by, you still need a passport.

  3. I went by coach from the UK to Germany, and we had to show our passport both at the coach station at the check in and to the officers at the Eurotunnel. They even made us get off the coach with our luggage to check everything.

I'm not sure whether you need a UK passport though... I mean, Italy is in the EU, so an Italian passport should do. You could check with National Express though.

  4. walk it dont be lazy

  5. You need a passport regardless of mode of transport.  It does not have to be British passport.  The appropriate visas will be needed if applicable, depending on country of citizenship.

  6. You go to another country, you need a passport. It doesn't matter what method of transportation you use.

  7. if the person is not an UK citizen, he will need his passport and a visa,

as far as traveling by bus, you need to check within the UK,

  8. If they're a member of the EU, and are traveling within the EU, they should have an identity card which can be used instead of a passport.

Tuesday: oh yes you can - my boyfriend is Polish and I have seen for myself that members of the EU with an identity card can use that instead of a passport - coming IN to Britain. Just because we are behind the times doesn't mean everywhere else is.
