  1. If you can not pass your medical, you still may be eligible to obtain a Sport Pilot Lic.

Please call my Chief Pilot Robert, you can find his info at www.bestinflight.net

  2. The age limit is partly based on the health of the would-be pilot. If you can prove that your fitness is sufficiently high, many CAA centers wil acept an application with this extra information. However, its not so easy to prove and a full medical examination may well show up something that you were not aware of.

  3. There is no upper age limit.

  4. There is no upper age limit for a pilot.

I know several pilots at my airport that are in their 70s and 80s and fly all the time. No problem.

You cannot captain a commercial (scheduled) airline flight. But, as long as you can pass your physical - you can fly.

  5. There is no age limit to get your certificate.  It depends on whether or not you can pass your medical.  My examiner had a CFI that was in his mid seventies, still going strong.

  6. Do you not understand what a "limit" is? An upper limit is finite and cannot be exceeded. Does that answer your question? Hmmmmm?

NO IT DOES NOT. There is no upper age limit to obtain a pilot certificate of any grade.

  7. The only country that imposes age limits is the USA which has a mandatory retirement age for commercial pilots.  There is no age limit for the licence as long as you can pass the medical.
