  1. If you pleaded not guilty and you never served any time in custody before the case was dismissed then I wouldn't think you would have a record.

If you pleaded not guilty but served time at HMP on remand before the case was dismissed you will still have a prison record but of course that can be explained to future employers

Hope this helps and good luck

  2. So it was dismissed you are not guilty. End of story unless of course it' was a child abuse case and here Social services have it both ways. Your guilty if you are guilty and you are still guilty if you are not guilty because they say so. I know they will say that the protection of the child is paramount but it is sometimes used as a cover for a bit of stupidity and injustice and government ministers are happy that a few people have theri lives ruined. I have no particular axe to grind here but it flies in what I feel is the face of any form of Justice.  Like many of these ideas it soon gets abused

  3. You may be able to request an expungement. You need to contact the court where the charge was entered to find out if you are eligible.

  4. You can only have it removed if you was not guilty of the offence, even so you will have to go back to court and have the case reviewed, you will need a solicitor to represent you.

  5. You can appeal.

  6. no, how would it be fair if you could!?!

  7. If you were found guilty for an offence then you cant remove it.

  8. If you were found guilty, then no.
