Can i get a dental implant in mexico

one of my teeth is showing deadness from a fight i was in years ago. can i safely get work done in mexico city for less?

  1. if you have a dead tooth especially if it is a front one your aim should be to save it and do a root canal and a crown.  

    esthetically, the implant will never look as good as your natural tooth neither will your gums around the implant.

    and NO, you should not get an implant done in mexico.  the problem is once you get the implant (this piece is under the gums and is not visible), you need to see your dentist back home and get the "crown" or the part that is visible in the mouth.  your dentist at home may not be familiar with the system they use in mexico and he may not be able to restore the implant.  In addition, if there is a problem with the implant like an infection, it will cost you more money to get down there to fix it....by then you may have permanent damage to the bone.

    So no. Just spend the extra cash and see a reputable periodontist is the US.
