Can i get a fiscal number for portugal b4 i move there?

Can i get a fiscal number and work permit set up here in UK before i move there?

If so, how much does it cost?

I don't think you can, because you'll need an address in Portugal, and I'm not sure how it works for foreigners, as we have an Identity Card, which is used for every official request. These things in Portugal aren't as simple as they are in the UK.

But just to be on the safe side, I would visit 'Loja do Cidadão' and I would ask them.

When I got my fiscal number I paid nothing, I just filled in a form.

The name of the card you are looking for is 'Cartão de Contribuinte.'
