  1. No, but portable ice makers are available. You just fill the reservoir, and plug the unit in.


  2. Yes you can, i used to have a samsung fridge/freezer which had a push-button on the front and a removable container on the inside.

    You had to take the container out, fill it with water and after the water had been chilled by the fridge it would be dispensed underneath the button on the door..

  3. No....You have to a water source for the water. No water....no water dispensing.

  4. No. But it is very easy to do.........in fact you can do it your self.....just ask someone it's very simple..........but you can make it hard also. So go for it.......it's nice to have. Best of luck

  5. No, they all source their water through household plumbing.  What you could do is get a Brita or Pur water filter pitcher and keep it in the fridge.

    I have the one at the link below and it's just like having a conventional water dispenser in the fridge only you have to open the door to use it.

    They have smaller models if that one's too big.
