Can i get a lip ring if i allergic to fake jewelry?

i have my ears pierced and want to get my lip pierced. i cant wear anything fake in my ears or it will get infected. i just wear gold. can i get the lip ring even though its metal?

Yes, you can. They don't pierce it with fake jewelry, but once it heals and you decide to change it, you just know you have to be careful about what you put in there.

Yes. Just let the piercer know. Usually they use surgical grade steel in piercings and no one is allergic to it. Nickel is the allergen in fake jewelry and many many people have a sensitivity to it. Good luck!

YES! i have the same problem I cant wear false jewlery anywhere except my lips and belly. I think the jewlery is made different, also different parts of the body arent as sensitive.
